After watching the movie "Manufacturing Concent" With Noam Chomski many of my views about media have changed. Noam Chomski tells about propaganda and how the media uses it to help nominate candidates in an elections and to help change the views of a person. When Noam said propaganda is to a democracy as violence is to a dictatorship. I think that Mr. Chopmski meant that dictators have to use violence to get there point across and to change the minds of the people he is leading and Democracy needs propaganda to change the minds of the voters so that the candidates will get more followers during their elections.
